Y. Tobias Stephens’s professional career may best be described as uniquely versatile. As an experienced Learning Performance Consultant, he specializes in transferring learning strategy into positively measured performance and productivity outcomes. Mr. Stephens has developed a niche in customizing and structuring training for clients of all sizes. He is committed to excellence, building business relationships, and overall customer satisfaction.
Beginning his career in Illinois, managing information technology helpdesk operations, Stephens has developed a life-long passion for discovering new and innovative ways to leverage technology for transfer of learning. He has an innate ability and passion for creating positive learning environments and bringing learning to life. Stephens’s training experience includes corporate training, software training implementations, elearning development, new employee orientation training, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance training, and leadership/supervisory training workshops.
Stephens holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Systems Technology from Southern llinois University at Carbondale and a Master of Education in Human Resource Development from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign. He is an active member with the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD), community groups, and other service organizations.
